We take children’s ear piercings seriously and want every child to have the safest, calmest, and most positive experience possible. Our professional piercers use implant grade jewelry for initial lobe piercings and take the time to make sure each appointment feels clean, comfortable, and age appropriate.

All clients getting pierced at Atomic Tattoo & Piercing need valid government issued photo identification, including minors.

For minors ages 5 to 16, we can accept valid photo identification such as:

• Learner’s licence
• Status card
• Permanent resident card
• Passport -
If the minor does not have government issued photo ID, we may accept valid student identification that includes a photo, name, and birthdate, accompanied by a physical birth certificate.

Minors must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian. The parent or legal guardian must also provide valid government issued photo identification.
scheduling
All children’s lobe piercing appointments must be booked in advance so we can take the time needed to provide the best experience possible.
Please schedule your child’s piercing appointment for a time when they are not rushed, overtired, or coming directly from a busy activity. We prefer to schedule children’s piercing appointments when the studio is calmer, often on weekdays or weekend evenings.
Please also consider upcoming vacations, sports, swimming, or physical activities before booking. Fresh lobe piercings require healing time, and the pierced area should not be submerged in standing water such as swimming pools, lakes, oceans, or hot tubs during the initial healing period.
