DID YOU GUYS USED TO BE CALLED "ATOMIC ZOMBIE"?

Atomic Tattoo & Piercing is a new business in the same location, with many of the same artists and piercers from the former studio.

WHAT ARE YOUR RATES?

All artists at Atomic charge between $150- $200/hr plus a $25 supply fee & GST
The shop minimum charge is $125 + $25 supply fee & GST

DO YOU TAKE WALK-INS?

We often have time for small, simple walk-ins, it's best to call or email in advance about availability

WHAT IS A CONSULTATION? HOW DO I GET ONE?

A tattoo consultation is a chance to discuss your idea directly with an artist before booking. Consultations help with custom designs, larger projects, cover ups, placement questions, and rough estimates for time and cost.
You can start by using our contact form or emailing info@atomictattoo.ca with your idea, placement, approximate size, reference images, and preferred artist.

DO I NEED TO LEAVE A DEPOSIT?

We require a non-refundable deposit of $100, $200, or $300 to secure any tattoo appointments. The deposit price is based on how many appointments need to be booked, as well as the size of the piece.
Deposits are 100% non refundable. There are no exceptions.

CAN I SEE A DRAWING OF MY TATTOO BEFORE MY APPOINTMENT?

We have a strict policy that we are unable to send advance drawings of our artists’ designs prior to any tattoo appointment date.
If you are not 100% confident that you and your artist are on the same page, let us know and another consultation can be booked to further discuss the project.
In-person drawing viewings may be scheduled within a couple of days of your appointment if the artist permits.

CAN I CANCEL MY APPOINTMENT?

We require at least 48 hours notice prior to your appointment to cancel or reschedule, otherwise your deposit will be forfeited. There are no exceptions.

I CHANGED MY MIND. CAN I MAKE CHANGES TO MY DESIGN?

It depends on how much of your original concept has changed. Minor adjustments are to be expected, but if you are undecided or need to make major changes, please contact us immediately so we can set up another consultation for you to chat with your artist.
Major changes without proper notice or artist knowledge can, and likely will, result in a forfeited deposit and an appointment reschedule.

DO YOU DO HAND/NECK/FACE TATTOOS?

We have a strict, non-negotiable policy not to do hand or finger tattoos unless the person is already visibly/heavily tattooed (i.e. having full sleeves, full leg pieces, a chest piece, etc). Most reputable studios will have a similar policy.
Our policy is to avoid tattooing hands and other more visible areas (neck and face) until you have greater tattoo coverage in an effort to prevent our clients from limiting any future opportunities.

DO YOU TATTOO MINORS?

We do not tattoo anyone under the age of 18 under any circumstances.
You MUST be at least 18 years of age on the day of your appointment. There are no exceptions.

CAN I BE TATTOOED IF I AM PREGNANT?

We do not offer tattoos to those who are pregnant or nursing.

DO I NEED TO BRING ID TO MY APPOINTMENT?

Yes. All clients getting pierced at Atomic Tattoo & Piercing need valid government-issued photo identification. Minors must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian, and additional ID requirements may apply.

WHAT ARE YOUR RATES?

Our piercing services page lists common piercing service fees and minimum age requirements. Jewelry is priced separately, so the final cost of a piercing depends on the jewelry you choose, GST, multiple piercings, and any additional services needed.

DO YOU TAKE PIERCING WALK-INS?

We do our best to accommodate walk-ins when time allows, but appointments are recommended for piercing services, jewelry changes, downsizes, and children’s lobe piercings.

DO YOU PIERCE MINORS?

Yes, some piercings are available for minors, depending on age, anatomy, the piercing requested, and piercer availability. We do not tattoo anyone under 18.
For minor piercings, a parent or legal guardian must be present and must provide valid government-issued photo ID. The minor must also have acceptable ID. Please review our children’s lobe piercing and piercing services pages for current age requirements and ID details before booking.

ARE THERE PIERCINGS I CAN'T GET AT YOUR STUDIO?

We do not offer cheek piercings, microdermals/surface piercings, lateral/horizontal tongue piercings, frenulum piercings or male genital piercings.
Please note that some piercings are anatomy specific and our piercers may need to assess the area to ensure it can safely and properly heal.

I GET MIGRAINES. SHOULD I GET A DAITH PIERCING?

Some people have claimed a daith piercing has helped with migraines/headaches, however we cannot guarantee any relief or alleviation from pain.

CAN I BRING MY OWN JEWELRY?

No. We do not pierce with outside jewelry. This helps us make sure the jewelry used for initial piercings meets our safety and quality standards.

If you are interested in booking a tattoo appointment, please send along a brief description of what you’re looking to get done. Please include any details regarding placement, size (inches or cm), whether or not you want colour, etc.

If you have a particular artist in mind that you’re hoping to book with you can select them, if you are unsure about which artist would be best, we are more than happy to direct you to the correct artist(s) that are best suited for your idea once we’ve received all aforementioned information.
